I like beginners to learn how to score. In these bridgemate days, supervised beginners hit [accept] without thinking. I cover scoring in Lesson 3. Lesson 4 introduces vulnerability. For the play hands I leave a laminated scoring sheet on each table. No (making) doubled contracts.
In practice sessions before they move to a supervised duplicates, the play boards with annotated travellers.
Good to print the A5 pdf below in colour. Ideally have a table number on the flip side.
