So East found West with 5-3-2-3 and selected 3NT.
One off on the club lead.
Other tables played 3NT from West, which usually made.
There is a case for 3S over 3C to say “Bid 3NT” but we don’t do that.
Another thought is for East to switch to natural over 2H. (Not over 2C since 3-level breaks are splinters and 2-level is not forcing)

The break suggests doubts about strain. With 5-3-3-2, opener can bid 3H.
